I have been a professional photographer for nearly 8 years. After leaving college in 1996 with an HND in photography I set out on the photographic roller coaster of life.

My first job was as a photographer with Butlins in Minehead, taking pictures of the campers enjoying the many activities which the resort had to offer.

Whilst working for Butlins, I worked on my days off as a sports photographer taking photographs for the Bristol City and West Bromwich Albion match day programmes.

In 1998 the opportunity to travel the world as a cruise ship photographer came up. This allowed me to travel to nearly all corners of the globe to photograph the sights which most people would only ever get to see in a book, magazine or on TV and in the process, getting well paid to do it.

After being at sea for five years which included two world cruises aboard the liner Queen Elizabeth 2, I decided in December 2003 to hang up my tuxedo and swap it for a pair of walking boots to photograph the scenic splendour of the British landscape.

My work is on display in a number of galleries in my home county of Dorset.

Equipment
Currently I use an Ebony RSW 5x4 camera with a 6x12 roll film back for all my landscape work with 75mm and 150mm Schneider lenses all supported by a Manfrotto 055c tripod.  The film stock used is Fuji Velvia 50.

I use a variety of Lee filters, mainly ND grads, polarising and warm up filters.

My travel photography is all photographed with Nikon F5 and F100 bodies with a range of Nikon lenses from 17mm to 300mm.  The film mainly used was Fuji Sensia 100.
